Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld (http://www.karl.com/)
Karl Lagerfeld is a German fashion designer, artist, and photographer based in Paris. He is the head designer and creative director of the fashion house Chanel as well as the Italian house Fendi and his own label fashion house. Over the decades, he has collaborated on a variety of fashion and art-related projects. He is well recognized around the world for his trademark white hair, black glasses, and high starched collars.

By the 1980s, Karl Lagerfeld was a major star in the fashion world. He was a favorite among the press, who loved to chronicle his changing tastes and social life. Lagerfeld kept company with other major stars, including his good friend Andy Warhol.

Around that time Lagerfeld launched his own label, in 1984, which he built around the idea of what he described as "intellectual sexiness." Over the years, the brand developed a reputation for quality tailoring with bold ready-to-wear pieces like cardigan jackets in bright colors. In 2005 Lagerfeld sold the label to Tommy Hilfiger.

In recent years, Lagerfeld, whose work has crossed over into film and photography, has continued to maintain a busy schedule. In 2011 he designed a line of glassware for the Swedish company Orrefors. That same year, he signed on to create a new clothing collection for Macy's.

INTERVIEW MS. JINCHI

This is the only one assignment for this subject. And this is also a group assignment. For this assignment we need to interview some artist about ours topic. After discussion with my group members we decide to interview tattoo artist. On this assignment we want to focus on how the tattoo effects a person in daily life. And we have our first interview with one of the Taylor's Lecturer, Miss Jinchi. At first I was afraid Miss Jinchi and I thought that she is kind of someone who is tough and a little bit like gangster, because that what always come on my mind when I heard someone with tattoo. But when I met Miss Jinchi, she is very kind, open minded and awesome! Can you imagine have a lecturer that have tattoo in whole of his or her body.
I really amazed by how she talk about her experienced and about some of her tattoo and something that is very shocking is when she talk about her mum accompanied her to tattoo parlour for her very first tattoo. usually parents would not agree or support their kid to have a tattoo so I'm very impressed by that.
She also share with us where do she get her inspiration of her tattoo design. Actually her design are from nature, culture, visual that her see.
